Waste Services Group are committed to protecting your privacy by complying with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).

In this Privacy Policy, 'us' 'we' or 'our' means Waste Services Group, which is comprised of Waste Services Group Pty Ltd (ACN 655 019 408) and its related bodies corporate.

This Privacy Policy sets out the management by the Waste Services Group of personal and sensitive information collected from customers, suppliers, prospective employees and other individuals that engage with us. Individuals dealing within Waste Services Group have the right to know what sort of personal information the Company holds, for what purposes, and how it is collected, held, used and disclosed. This policy does not apply to employees of Waste Services Group.

All personal information collected by Waste Services Group is held securely in line with industry practice, whether in Waste Services Group physical files, in Waste Services Group systems or in a database (which may be hosted by Waste Services Group or a third party on Waste Services Group behalf).

Internally, strict controls and procedures are in place to ensure that the privacy and security of personal information provided to Waste Services Group is protected.

Waste Services Group may collect personal information about you when you use and access our website.

While we do not use browsing information to identify you personally, we may record certain information about your use of our website, such as which pages you visit, the time and date of your visit and the internet protocol address assigned to your computer.

Waste Services Group may also use 'cookies' or other similar tracking technologies on our website that help us track your website usage and remember your preferences. 7.       How to make a complaint

If you think we have breached the Privacy Act, or you wish to make a complaint about the way we have handled your personal information, you can contact us using the details provided below or via our Online Inquiry Form.

In your complaint, please include your name, email address and/or telephone number and clearly describe your complaint. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond to you regarding your complaint within a reasonable period of time. If you think that we have failed to resolve the complaint satisfactorily, we will provide you with information about the further steps you can take.

9.       Effect of Policy

This Policy may be reviewed and revised from time to time to take account of new laws and changes to Waste Services Group operations and practices. We encourage you to check our website periodically to ensure that you are aware any recent changes.
