Matt has been with WSG as CEO since February 2017 and a Director since May 2018, and has overseen the execution of the Group’s strategy, resulting in WSG now being one of Australia’s leading waste management and resource recovery businesses.
Matt has over 25 years experience in complex logistics and industrial businesses and prior to joining WSG worked with companies such as Toll Holdings, Asciano Ltd, McAleese Ltd and AWH across diverse industry segments including ports, rail, road transport, warehousing, aviation services and manufacturing.
Steve is WSG’s Group CFO with responsibility for a broad range of financial, commercial and information and data deliverables for the Group.Steve is also a Director and WSG’s Company Secretary.
He has a strong track record in growing businesses through setting and delivery strategy, building and leading teams and stakeholder management. Prior to joining WSG, Steve held numerous roles within Fenner Dunlop, a Michelin company, including Director, COO and CFO and has also held senior roles within Alcoa and AGL.
Katherine joined WSG in April 2023 as Group P&C Manager and has been instrumental in orchestrating the People strategy to facilitate the sustained expansion of the Group.
For two decades, Katherine has supported highly regulated industrial businesses with building and executing culture and transformation initiatives, that result in sustained change and tangible value. Katherine holds a diverse experience profile ranging from prominent corporate entities such as bp, Toll Group and Jetstar, to agile privately-owned enterprises like Samma Property Group and Maura Fay.
Nadine has been with WSG as Group ESG Manager since June 2022 and has overseen the establishment of the ESG function, quickly progressing WSG as one of the ESG leaders in the Australian waste industry.
Nadine has over 25 years’ experience as a chartered accountant and sustainability professional, including working in professional services businesses including KPMG and Accenture, the private sector and NFPs, across various industries including resources, utilities, consumer goods & services, manufacturing, telecommunications, environment, agriculture, and education.
Sean joined WSG in September 2022 as Group HSQ Manager and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of the Group’s safety and compliance strategy to get all of our people, and all those we come in contact with, home safely each day.
Sean has over 20 years’ experience in operational and safety leadership roles across a diverse range of industries such as steel manufacturing and processing, logistics and warehousing, retail and dangerous goods facilities, with leading companies including BlueScope Steel, Toll Holdings and Reece Group.
Max joined WSG as Executive Group Development, leading Group strategy, M&A, post-acquisition integration and major projects.
Max has extensive national and international experience in strategy and M&A across the financial services, infrastructure, logistics and waste industries. Max has previously worked for blue chip organisations including KPMG, Transurban and Toll Holdings. Max holds a Masters and Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Maastricht Business School.
Chris joined WSG as General Manager, Collections in October 2019 and has overseen the execution of the Group’s solid waste collections strategy resulting in WSG’s leading position in the Victorian and NSW C&I markets.
Chris has over 30 years’ experience in complex logistics businesses and prior to joining WSG worked in senior management roles with companies such as Patrick and Toll Holdings across a wide range of service segments including contract logistics, road transport, warehousing, industrial chemicals, bulk fuel distribution and refrigerated warehousing & distribution.
Jeff has been with WSG as Executive General Manager, Managed Services since July 2023 and is responsible for delivering on WSG’s strategy of being Australia’s leading waste managed services provider, partnering with clients to deliver improved cost, service, reporting and sustainability outcomes.
Jeff has over 30 years’ experience holding senior executive positions with companies such as ABB, Tyco and Ventia delivering services to the electricity, telecommunications, gas, water and fire protection sectors.
Scott joined CSA Specialised Services in 2022, leading the growth of the business which then joined WSG in April 2023. Scott’s role is delivery of the business strategy, including its expansion into South East Queensland in late 2022 and continued development of the Argus Waste Recycling facility.
Scott has over 20 years’ experience in the waste management industry, holding senior positions with companies such as Toxfree Solutions, Cleanaway and Wastech Engineering. Scott was instrumental in the growth of these companies’ industrial services, liquids and treatment divisions, leading networks of sites nationally.
Natasha has been General Manager of APC since March 2023, and is responsible alongside the dedicated team of APC experts for the delivery of a wide array of waste consultancies services to the government, private and waste industry sectors, including many of Australia’s largest waste characterisation audit programs.
Natasha brings to APC extensive experience in managing sophisticated waste and resource recovery projects, high standards of service delivery, as well as major contract tendering and complex stakeholder management and change management programs. This experience has been gained through senior management roles in both the government and private sector.
